The image records the material condition of the package: shipping labels, barcodes, customs stamps, addresses, declared value, weight, dirt, creases, and the wear accumulated during transit.

Scanned directly upon arrival, the object documents the physical and administrative infrastructure of its transit. This piece is part of the ongoing project Das Kapital.

Postverpackung der VHS-Version von Das Kapital nach der Rücksendung an das Studio in Deutschland von der Film Society of Lincoln Center, New York, 2004.

Das Bild dokumentiert den physischen Zustand des Pakets: Frachtbriefe, Barcodes, Zollstempel, Adressen, Warenwert, Gewicht, Schmutz, Knicke und die während des Transports entstandenen Gebrauchsspuren.

Das direkt nach dem Empfang eingescannte Objekt verzeichnet die physische und administrative Infrastruktur des Transports. Diese Arbeit ist Teil des Projekts Das Kapital.
