Systems of Accumulation
No form emerges complete. It occurs through repetition.
One trace approaches another, crosses it, changes direction, returns. What was a filament becomes a surface; the surface acquires thickness; the thickness defines a cavity. The boundary between one phase and the next becomes undetectable.
The images gathered here follow this single logic. They do not constitute a catalogue of objects. They are the visual fixation of a material under compression, folding, friction, and increase.
Accumulation does not imply quantity, but method. Each configuration retains the residue of the preceding action and conditions the one that follows. What can be seen is occupied by what can no longer be seen.
The volume interrupts the sequence without bringing it to a close. It shows only a cross-section: the density reached by matter at one point in the process.

Keine Form entsteht vollständig. Sie entsteht durch Wiederholung.
Eine Spur nähert sich einer anderen, kreuzt sie, ändert ihre Richtung, kehrt zurück. Was ein Filament war, wird zur Oberfläche; die Oberfläche gewinnt an Dicke; die Dicke begrenzt einen Hohlraum. Die Grenze zwischen einer Phase und der nächsten wird unkenntlich.
Die hier versammelten Bilder folgen dieser einen Logik. Sie bilden keinen Katalog von Objekten. Sie sind die visuelle Fixierung eines Materials unter Kompression, Faltung, Reibung und Zunahme.
Akkumulation bezeichnet hier keine Quantität, sondern eine Methode. Jede Konfiguration bewahrt den Rückstand der vorhergehenden Handlung und bestimmt die nachfolgende mit. Was sichtbar ist, wird von dem eingenommen, was nicht mehr sichtbar sein kann.
Der Band unterbricht die Sequenz, ohne sie abzuschließen. Er zeigt lediglich einen Ausschnitt: die Dichte, die Materie an einem bestimmten Punkt des Prozesses erreicht.

Un trazo se acerca a otro, lo cruza, cambia de dirección, retorna. Lo que era un filamento pasa a ser superficie; la superficie toma espesor; el espesor delimita una cavidad. El límite entre una fase y la otra se vuelve indetectable.
Las imágenes agrupadas aquí responden a esa sola lógica. No constituyen un catálogo de objetos. Son la fijación visual de un material bajo compresión, doblez, fricción e incremento.
Acumular no implica cantidad, sino método. Cada configuración conserva el residuo de la acción anterior y condiciona la posterior. Lo que se ve está ocupado por lo que ya no puede verse.
El volumen interrumpe la secuencia sin clausurarla. Muestra apenas un corte: la densidad que alcanza la materia en un punto del proceso.
