Vor sich existiert zunächst als ein mittels künstlicher Intelligenz erzeugtes Bild: Eine Technologie der Gegenwart imaginiert ein materielles Werk, das mit einer Technologie des 20. Jahrhunderts realisiert ist und seinerseits die Schwierigkeit der Gegenwartskunst befragt, sich auf das einzulassen, was von der Geschichte noch nicht legitimiert worden ist.

Die Vergangenheit liegt vor uns; die Zukunft imaginiert die Vergangenheit; eine neue Technologie simuliert eine alternde Technologie, um zu fragen, was wir zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt unter zeitgenössisch verstehen.

Vor sich initially exists as an image produced through artificial intelligence: a technology of the present imagines a material work made with a twentieth-century technology which, in turn, questions the difficulty contemporary art has in engaging with what has not yet been legitimized by history.

The past appears ahead; the future imagines the past; a recent technology simulates an aging technology to ask what, at any given moment, we understand as contemporary.

Vor sich existe inicialmente como una imagen producida mediante inteligencia artificial: una tecnología del presente imagina una obra material realizada con una tecnología del siglo XX que, a su vez, interroga la dificultad del presente artístico para relacionarse con aquello que todavía no ha sido legitimado por la historia.

El pasado aparece delante; el futuro imagina el pasado; una tecnología reciente simula una tecnología envejecida para preguntar qué entendemos, en cada momento, por contemporáneo.
