I have incorporate the extracted Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) as art media and sound source.

The concept is best achieved through the word transduction: «feedthrough». I am building a system in which the digital data and the organic matter transform into each other in an endless loop.

I did a DNA-composition to honor the composer Clara Schumann (1819 – 1896).

She was buried at Bonn’s Alter Friedhof (The old cemetery in Bonn) next to her husband.
I visited the cemetery and I took samples of pansies of her grave.
Through enzymes I got the pansies´DNA and then I dropped it in a water bird whistle toy.
